It’s always fun to make short demos to check out new plugins. It’s even more fun when those plugs are free. Just like “Zyklop” by Dawesome, which truely is a synth giant.
Normally i’m not a collector of plugins, i still enjoy working with Cubase stock-plugins, but Zyklop looked really interesting – and i quickly found out that it also sounds really good.
It inspired me to come up with a cyberpunk-ish demo that only uses original presets and 2 of my custom ones that i’ve made from simple piano and drum samples.
But i explain everything in the video which isn’t a tutorial but rather a track walkthrough. I explain and demonstrate every section of the music before we listen to the whole thing. This way you can listen to all the parts and Zyklop sounds before everything gets together. Enjoy:
