Go minimalistic in Pigments

The virtural Synthesizer Pigments by Arturia is not known for its minimalistic sounds. In fact, it’s a very rich sounding synth with endless possibilities. I’ve already made a Pigments 5 Beginner’s Tutorial.

It’s always nice to have a big library of dissolute custom presets, but they often can be hard to use in a project.

In my Video “How to make minimalistic presets in Pigments 5” i create a set of simple presets in no time. Starting with a Synth-Bass i also come up with a Pluck, Pad and Lead-Sound, just by pushing some buttons and by using a minimalistic way of thinking:

Arturia Pigments 5

As mentioned in my February News i want to talk about another virtual synthesizer on my channel, after it was only about Vital and Cubase Stock-Synths so far. Here we go…

Pigments is one of the most powerful synthesizers out there. But it’s quite overwhelming when you first look at it. Now, that Arturia released Pigments 5, i decided to make an short Introduction to Pigments.

It’s perfect if you’re new to this great virtual synth! Starting with a little mean joke i show all the most important features and make it easy for you to create your first preset in pigments after only a few minutes.
