The virtural Synthesizer Pigments by Arturia is not known for its minimalistic sounds. In fact, it’s a very rich sounding synth with endless possibilities. I’ve already made a Pigments 5 Beginner’s Tutorial.
It’s always nice to have a big library of dissolute custom presets, but they often can be hard to use in a project.
In my Video “How to make minimalistic presets in Pigments 5” i create a set of simple presets in no time. Starting with a Synth-Bass i also come up with a Pluck, Pad and Lead-Sound, just by pushing some buttons and by using a minimalistic way of thinking:
This is not only helpful when you’re new to Pigments and want to learn more about it, the video also helps you to create groups of presets that sound good together and don’t fill up the arrangement like crazy.
