Into The Star System

“Into The Star System” is the first piece of music we’ve created on YouTube. The orchestral-hybrid track is live on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

The track is inspired by the OST (original soundtrack) of the game “Starfield” by composer Inon Zur, especially the track “New Atlantis”. While the game turned out to be a disappointment for many players, the soundtrack is still great.

You can witness the creative writing process in the first video (of 3):

  • Deep Drone: Padshop 2 / Perspectives
  • Numb Bass: Retrologue 2 / Numb Bass
  • Cinematic Strings: HalionSonic 7 / Cinematic Strings
  • Brass: HalionSonic 7 / Real Brass
  • Brass 2: Retrologue 2 / Brass Me Up
  • SF Pad: Padshop 2 / Transparent
  • Flute: HalionSonic 7 / Expressive Flute
  • Echo Wipes: HalionSonic 7 / Echo Wipes (efx: Step Filter, Reverb)
  • Analog Pad: HalionSonic 7 / Analog Pad

In the second video the initial writing process is over and we start the actual production:

In the last part i breakdown the final mix of our orchestral space music track:

My background story that helped me making this track was so inspiring that one viewer accused me of spoiling the game 🙂

At that point i haven’t had played Starfield (i still haven’t) and my storyboard was pure fantasy.

Also i had to re-upload the track to Spotify due to technical problems (long story short) and to make sure there’s no confusion i changed the title from “Star System” to “Into The Star System”.
